How the economy affects us

In today’s economy everyone that has a job, house and a vehicle should feel thankful. There aren’t that many jobs in the job market today, unless you have a super serious title, or you can work at Burger King. President Obama signed legislation to jump start the economy called the American recovery and reinvestment Act. This act will bring our economy to a new level; this act will also be brining 3.5 million new jobs, and give 95% of Americans a tax cut. Before President Obama signed the American recovery act we were in a terrible mess, we had a deficit of $1.3 trillion, 2 wars, and rising unemployment. President Obama wants everyone to have a home or keep one so he signed another Act called the Helping families save their home Act, which was to make homes more affordable and for other to not go into foreclosure, it will also provide $2.2 million to help combat homelessness. America was in a recession, almost like the Great Depression of the 1930’s. The Economy affects a lot things like people, business and stock market just to name a few. There also saying that the economy will bounce back in 2011, it just taking a little longer then everyone was hoping, people are still jobless and some are still homeless and depressed about this whole situation. It is said that 14% more people are using state funded help like food stamps and housing, to date 43 million people use these service provided by the home state. In this economy how will people survive, not lose their job and live in a comfortable place if the economy keeps getting worse or doesn’t get any better than it is
