why maintaining your land is important

Maintaining your own land can be very rewarding, cause not only are you helping your property, your helping the planet also. Planting trees, flowers, shrub and other things make your land look more appealing to you and others in your neighborhood. If preparing your property for a house there are many things to consider, is your land even big enough for a house, how much space with be left over for a septic, well and anything else that is needed. Is there enough room for your driveway and where it will be placed, landscaping and and other needs can be figured out later. You may want to take into consideration, just in case, you want to make your house bigger or add a dec or screened room, is the land your buying big enough for that. But Bfore any of these things are done it would probably be a good idea to gwt ther land surveyed, getting the land surveyed would help in the knowing if it even suitable for building on, and in some area where you live there are zoning rules that would apply. Preparing your land means usually a smooth road to contructng whatever you so choose and taking the proper steps will aid in that process. Another thing to consider is any or all of the land a swampy area or have a lot of mud, som e swamp area can be ok and mudd the same but too much is never a good thing. If the land is muddy or swamp it might cost you more money because you will have to bring in big equipment and have more materials brought in like gravel or extra dirt. You may want to think about if you want to put in a rock wall as a decoration piece or as a way to make you land more private, and this may not cost as much as you think, you could go and get the rocks yourself in your local area.
